Superior Strength
Previously, conventional bars were manufactured through the cold twisting process. However, vasudha tmt bars are manufactured by using a tempcore technology where they receive intense cooling when they pass through the water cooling system. This process hardens their outer surface and makes them at least 20% stronger than the bars that are manufactured using a cold twisting process.
Better Weldability
The weldability of Vasudha TMT bars is excellent. This helps construction designers and architectures create innovative structures without compromising the quality of the structure and strength of the bar.
Fatigue Resistant
Vasudha TMT bars are super strong bars having a high fatigue-resistant properties. These bars have the unique capability to withstand pressure. The soft ferrite-pearlite core of the Vasudh TMT bars enables them to bear any kind of loading including seismic loading. This extreme fatigue-resistant property makes them the most suitable construction material for earthquake-prone areas.
High Elongatio
Vasudha tmt bars are highly flexible in nature, because of which they does not get cracks even after bending 180 degrees. The better elongation becomes possible because of the better ductility of the steel. The vasudha tmt bars with better elongation rate are easy to carry and offer maximum saving in comparison this makes them perfect for areas prone to cyclones, earthquakes and other natural calamities. Elongation is defined as a bar's ability to deform before its fracture. If the percentage of elongation is higher, the chances of damage to the building are less. High elongation property of vasudha tmt bar protects the building from damages during any natural calamity such as an earthquake.
Unique Bending
Vasudha TMT bars can be bent and molded into any shape during a construction project. The bending and re-bending ability of the Vasudha TMT bars makes them the easiest materials to work with. Vasudha TMT bars lend superior welding ability, working ability, ductility and better elongation.
Better Bond with Cement
Vasudha TMT bars form a strong bond with concrete or cement. The ribs on the surface of the bars that run across the entire length give them superior bonding strength. This provides superior strength to the structure and increases its longevity.
Corrosion Resistant
The way Vasudha TMT bars are manufactured and the way the raw materials are processed, make these bars highly resistant to corrosion. During any construction project, the TMT bars are exposed to water for a longer period. The anti-corrosive properties of Vasudha TMT bars increase their life. Traditional bars don't have such anti-corrosive properties and thus, they are vulnerable to rusting. This is highly dangerous for the safety of a building.
Cost Effective
Less consumption: vasudha tmt bars ensure the strength & grade of bars. In normal practice designs are made as per grade fe-415, if the designs are made as per grade fe-500 then the consumption of steel will be reduced at least by 15%. Vsudha tmt bars confirm the grade fe-500. Vasudha tmt bars are strictly produced as per the b.i.s norms, so the section weight of the vasudha tmt bars is lesser. Bars are procured on a weight basis but used in lengths so vasudha tmt bars are more cost effective than others.
